Just One Man

Picture, if you will, a child, any child, perhaps even yourself as a child, wide-eyed and eager with anticipation for the next word, the next syllable which would spark an emotion to swell inside. Pleasure, terror, excitement, sadness, an entire gambit of emotions triggered by nothing more than the telling of a story.

As children, the stories were simple, yet they entertained. They taught. They motivated. As adults, the stories become more complicated, yet their purpose remains forever the same.

This is just such a story. A true story of stories about one man and his experiences. He didn’t want fame, didn’t want posterity. He didn’t much like the idea of this book. But as his friend, I fought for the book. A book that captures the stories of his life he so much loved to share. One of the most valuable lessons I learned from Nate was that there are so many journeys to be taken just by listening to another's experiences. He always loved to learn about another person’s world. I have preserved the very essence of what Nate believed in and experienced. Now you can journey though the life of “Just One Man”.
